NGK & Associates Limited (NGK or the Company) was incorporated on 20 June 2002 as a limited liability company.

The strategic intent of NGK is to attain market dominance in the automated business process consulting industry in Nigeria, the West African region and eventually the African Continent. The company intends to achieve this objective over the next ten years, by attracting intelligent professionals who are continually trained and kept abreast of technology deployment (know-how) that are already available in the developed economies. NGK makes such skills assessable to indigenous companies in our local environment and countries in Africa as well, by providing the development services to the growing companies, at a price they can afford, using our existing strong operating business strategy that enables efficient pricing and service delivery.

In 2003, NGK was appointed as the Local Financial Consultant by Management Services in Health (MSH), a US consultant appointed by USAID to deploy automated financial system within a major government Heath Care parastatal - National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA). The project was for 18 months and NGK is still on their list of consultants.

Also in 2003, NGK & Associates through APDF part funding support program was able to bring into Nigeria expatriates from UK to assist an indigenous Insurance Company, Leadway Assurance Ltd to deploy a web-based process collaboration tool that helped the company standardize their operation around their 30 branches nationwide. Later, in the year NGK signed alliance agreements with two major software vendors that allowed NGK learn the features and capabilities of the software they sell.

In 2004 alone, NGK was able to introduce 6 different business development projects to APDF, in which NGK impressively delivered automated accounting information management and internal control systems to the companies. While in first quarter 2005, NGK has done similarly for 3 projects with APDF’s part-funding and support.

In 2004 as well, NGK became accepted by SME Managers Limited, to provide automated accounting information management and internal control systems to all their investment companies after a successful deployment of our service for one of their major investment companies – Vic Lawrence & Associates Ltd. Hence, in 2004, four other invested companies of SME Managers were added to NGK’s client portfolio. Also, NGK worked with the Association of Nigerian Business Women Forum (NBWF) to provide automated accounting system and procedures to some of their willing members at a volume discount.

In 2005, NGK was nominated as the lead consultant for the SMEDEX project. Small Medium Enterprise Development Exercise (SMEDEX) is an initiative of the Convention Business Integrity and Enterprise Development Services for the provision of business development services to a selected number of SMEs on a pilot scheme. NGK serviced three companies under this scheme.
